Thanksgiving Celebrations

Saturday, November 26, 2016

Sadly, Thanksgiving isn't really celebrated in Germany but about three years ago my family decided to have our first Thanksgiving and started our little holiday tradition. Last year, I actually got to experience this event in the U.S. and totally loved it. So, for 2016 my mom and I spent all of Thursday in the kitchen and prepared a delicious dinner with a huuuge turkey. We had a bunch of friends come over and had a great time eating and talking.
To me Thanksgiving is such a fun holiday where everyone gets together with family and friends to enjoy the delicious food :)
Even though Thanksgiving hasn't made it to Germany yet, just about every store has Black Friday Sales. It is pretty crazy actually.. I tried to score some deals in the city but was immediately so annoyed with these masses of people in the shops that I went home and ordered a bunch of stuff online :D
Here are some of my fave deals this year:
Alo Yoga - 30% off everything (!!!) with the code ALO30
Abercrombie - 50% off selected items + Free shipping
Topshop - 50% off selected items
ASOS - 20% off everything
Urban Outfitters - 50% off selected items

I'm wearing:
Dress - Urban Outfitters (similar cut) | Tights - H&M (similar) | Boots - Office | Over-the-knee socks - Hollister

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving if you celebrated it and if not, I hope you guys got some great Black Friday Deals :)

  3. I think Thanksgiving is totally about spending time with loved ones! That's nice that you get the sale deals regardless if you celebrate Thanksgiving or not in Germany. Such a cute print on this dress! xoxo, Christine

  12. You are so pretty! I absolutely love your dress, no surprise that it's from Urban Outfitters, I could buy every single dress they sell!! I must go on the hunt for one just like this, I hate that we don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here in the UK either as it seems like such a lovely holiday, but I think I've probably grown to the idea due to being obsessed with the TV show Friends & their Thanksgivings always seem so great! Aha, and I agree, I would much rather spend my Black Friday or any kind of holiday sales sitting in from of my laptop wrapped up warm with some tea, instead of getting trampled on!! Lovely post :-)
